1. Scope
This policy applies to the current Paper Garden: Logic Puzzles app (Paper Garden) and its privacy and support website at papergarden.housesdesign.org, operated by ZHANG RONG.
The game and the website handle information differently. Playing the game does not require a website visit or a game account.
2. Game data
Puzzle content can be played offline. We have not integrated advertising, social features, gameplay analytics or a developer-operated crash-reporting service. The app does not send game progress to developer servers or track players for advertising.
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, photos, contacts or location. It reads your system language to choose Chinese or English, and you can change that choice in Settings.
The full game uses a one-time, non-consumable App Store purchase. Product lookup, purchasing and restoring purchases connect to Apple’s services. The app uses StoreKit to verify ownership on your device and unlock content, including when StoreKit has a valid locally stored entitlement. We do not receive payment-card details or send purchase credentials to developer servers. Earlier test builds may not support purchasing.
Apple may separately process App Store, device diagnostic or backup information according to your device settings and Apple’s policies. This is separate from game data sent by the app. Apple privacy policy
3. Local saves
Puzzle progress, marks, settings, rewards, daily records and flower-journal pages are stored in local app files to restore your game and display your creations. There is no game-account sync or journal upload. We cannot retrieve these local files from our website. Purchase ownership is managed by StoreKit and is separate from puzzle progress; the app does not store payment-card data or a custom copy of purchase receipts in your game save.
Local progress remains on your device until it is removed or replaced. Deleting the app removes its local data; offloading the app keeps its documents and data. iOS backup or device migration may retain or restore files depending on your settings. There is no separate cloud game account to delete.
4. Visiting this website
This is an information website. We do not add advertising trackers, third-party analytics scripts, contact forms or file uploads. It cannot access your game’s local save files.
The website uses OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery. When you visit, these providers may process your IP address, browser information, requested address and request time to serve pages, operate the service and protect it from abuse. Necessary security cookies may be used by the delivery service.
Service data may be processed on infrastructure in different countries or regions. The providers’ policies explain their data handling and retention:
5. Support messages and your choices
If you choose to contact support by email, we receive your email address and the information you include, such as the app version, puzzle number and description of the issue. We use this information to investigate and reply to your request. Your email provider and our email service also process the message to deliver it.
We do not sell support messages or use them for advertising. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle the issue and related follow-up, or to meet applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of information you have provided; we will verify and respond to your request.
Please avoid sending passwords, payment details, sensitive personal information or full save files unless they are necessary for a specific support issue. A parent or guardian can contact us about information sent by a child.
6. Updates and contact
Changes to this policy will be published here with an updated date. Material changes to the app’s data handling will also be reflected in its privacy information.
